
There is no school Monday, February 17th in observance of Presidents' Day.


This week, AEA Lakewood students traveled to the Beck Center for the Arts to participate in four workshops. The students had the opportunity to experience dance, Visual Arts, Music, and Theater.




Students from our Strongsville Campus toured Cleveland State University where they learned about the numerous degree programs, financial aid, and housing opportunities offered by the university.

The K-9 Caring Angels paid a visit to the Strongsville campus last week. Therapy dogs "Reggie" and "Fjord" visited the classrooms and provided opportunities for hugs, pets, and cuddles.








Students from our Strongsville Campus visited MAGNET - The manufacturing, advocacy and growth network - where they learned about opportunities in manufacturing while building race cars, mixing paint, and playing with OTIS the robot dog.










AEA Lakewood staff and students celebrated Quarter 2 with their Awards Ceremony on Friday. Congratulations to 8th and 12th grade who for the second quarter in a row won best attendance and highest GPA!




Students from Strongsville and Lakewood AEA campuses were able to participate on the Brown's Indoor practice field and meet some Brown's players. Both the students and teachers were involved in several of the skills being shown.

* CCP is only for students entering grades 7-12 in the 2025-2026 school year.
* It is MANDATORY that you attend one of these meetings if your child(ren) would like to participate in CCP for the 2025-2026 school year.
* You can attend either meeting regardless of your child(ren)'s school of attendance as long as they are enrolled at AEA.
* There is no obligation to do CCP after attending the meeting.
* The tuition for CCP classes and books is ONLY paid for IF the student passes the class. If they drop the class too late or fail, you are responsible for payment.

The Strongsville Seniors celebrated the end of Quarter 2 with an ice skating outing - and the opportunity to get a few pointers from professional figure skater, coach, and US Olympic competitor Franklyn Singley. ⛸️❤️

This year AEA is rolling out a program to encourage families to come to the building for a fun night filled with activities around literacy! Any guesses on which two books were chosen for students in K-12 to read? You will all get your books soon but guesses are encouraged until we pass them out. For now, save the date!


Due to extreme temperatures BOTH AEA Campuses will be closed Tuesday & Wednesday this week. Stay warm and safe!

No school Monday, January 20th in observance of MLK Jr. Day.


The Strongsville campus seniors made an informative visit to WEWS Channel 5 last week. The students were able to ask questions of the producers and on-air news anchors. They visited the control room during the live noon news broadcast, and talked with meteorologist Katie McGraw.





This past weekend Mrs.Puma took two of her 7th grade students to The Power of the Pen Competion at Fairview High School. This little team was small but mighty! They went up against 21 other schools with teams of 6-13 students! Power of the pen is a creative writing competiton where students compete in three rounds of writing. They are given a prompt and only 40 minutes to write. They did an amazing job and we find out soon if they made it to regionals!
