Please see the below information from the Director of Special Education regarding Hearing and Vision Screenings for the 2024-2025 School Year.
As an Ohio public school, AEA is required to administer vision and hearing screenings to students
entering grades KG, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. We also screen any students that are new to Albert Einstein Academy for the 2024-2025 school year. If you have concerns about your child’s vision or hearing and they are not in one of the grades scheduled for regular screenings, contact your building principal and we can add them to the list to be screened. Screenings will take place in the months of September and October. If your child has any findings as a result of the screenings, your building principal will send home a letter for you to take to your physician for a follow-up.
