New Backpack Policy
For the 2024-2025 school year we will be making a change to the book bag/backpack policy. The purpose behind the new policy is to help continue to enhance school safety as well as limit the items coming into the buildings from home each day. The only items necessary to come to school each day are planners or take home folders (grade dependent) and pencils or other basic items. Please see the details below as this new policy only applies to students entering grades 5-12.
Grades K-4: Students entering these grades may bring a backpack of their choice to school.
Grades 5-12: Students entering these grades may bring a backpack of their choice if they will be leaving it in their homeroom all day. If they would like to carry their backpacks around the building they MUST be clear. Please see the following links for visual options, these backpacks can be purchased at places such as Amazon, Walmart, Target and many other retailers.
